Getting Writing Inspiration, Sticking to the Writing Task, Writer's Health

Tip 3: Journal It

There are few things more intimidating than a blank Word document. Sometimes, we just need a release for the creativity before spinning it into words.

My solution? A journal. Scribble every thought and half-baked idea. It might be trash. It might be genius. But soon you’ll see you’ve created a whole world with your pen and paper, and there’s something different about holding those notes rather than just letting them float in the digital cloud.

Here, I’ve decided to share my Sulwen journal with you. Listen to my awkward narration while checking out my messy, artsy notebook. Don’t read the notes too closely if you don’t want spoilers!

Remember, anyone can write. It’s a skill. All you have to do is start.

Love, Em
